Aaron Sanders Plumbing will warranty all parts and labor supplied
for a period of one year
from the date of installation.
All labor (correct installation) is warranted for a period of one
year even if the parts are supplied
by the customer.
In the event a customer supplies the parts no warranty of the
parts will be given.
What does this mean? The following are some examples:
Example # 1
A garbage disposal is supplied and installed by Aaron Sanders
Plumbing and the unit fails with in a year of installation. Aaron
Sanders Plumbing will replace the unit at no cost to the customer
providing there was no misuse of the unit.
Bones jamming the disposal would be considered misuse and the
customer would be charged
for the repair or replacement.
Example #2
A garbage disposal is supplied by the customer and installed by
Aaron Sanders Plumbing and
the unit fails with in the one year period. The customer will be
responsible for dealing with the manufacturer's warranty policy.
Once a new unit is supplied by the manufacture or purchased
the by the customer Aaron Sanders Plumbing will charge for the
replacement installation.
Example #3
If the installation of a disposal supplied by the customer was
improperly installed, Aaron Sanders Plumbing would not charge for
the unit or installation if the unit fails within the year of
installation.
This is the 1 year labor warranty and can be offered
because we install all plumbing products correctly the
first time
Real Life Example #4 (This did happen!!)
A customer purchased a water heater from a big box company in
Tracy, CA and was installed
by another plumbing company. The water heater failed with in the
manufacturer's warranty period.
The manufacturer required the customer to pay for a plumber (me)
to remove the failed water heater, bring it to
the big box store, pick up a replacement, and the install the
replacement.
The customer not only spent time on the phone with the
manufacturer, but wound up paying me to remove and return the water
heater as well as the installation.
A typical water heater is warranted by the manufacturer for one
year on parts and six years on the tank. If a water heater
supplied and installed by Aaron Sanders Plumbing fails with in the
first year there will be no charge for the replacement and
installation. Regrettably if a typical water heater
fails in years two through the end of the manufacturer's warranty
period the customer will be charged for
parts and labor needed for the change out. Pick up and disposal
for the supplied water that
failed will be at no additional cost to the customer.
Bottom Line:
Parts supplied by Aaron Sanders Plumbing are competitively priced
to what the customer can purchase the same part for. We have even
beaten the on line price of some of the high end products. The
pricing is kept competitive by volume purchases through our
suppliers and warranties are streamlined
through our relationship with our suppliers. Some discounted parts
will not be supplied by us because we can not stand behind them
for a year. We try to purchase American when ever possible due to
quality assurances.
For a competitively priced plumbing product let us supply the
parts we know we can stand
behind for the first year.
